i am ron! i'm glad you're here :)
i studied physics, math and computer science (and often, philosophy) in my undergrad. i've researched phase qubits for my senior (theoretical) research, and currently working at a startup, on ml infra!
i love physics, data-driven engineering, and coding things up from scratch, like GPT-2, Llama-2, amongst other things.
i’ve also built Stable-Diffusion v1.5 from scratch, implemented GANs and diffusion models, written my own autograd engine for physics-aware problems, and spun up everything from small a chess engine to protein-folding inspired architectures.
i have pivoted from research-based methods to ai engineering and infra and i love low-level stuff (quantum mechanics womp).
